WOO WOO! We get a Sam-centric episode on California Dreams. Finally, we are provided some much needed backstory and exposition on our favorite set of lungs. The Dreams find themselves in a real PICKLE as their van breaks down before a big gig. They ask Sam for a loan to fix it but it puts chances of her visiting her family back in Hong Kong in jeopardy. Will our favorite band of high school minstrels save the Chinese New Year after they’re swindled by a malevolent mechanic? Find out!
We also get a B-plot involving poker for some reason as well as some stellar character actor portrayals in this episode. We also take a breather as Sly is generally absent in this episode.
